Why I Ask For Donations

Photographing the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on The Mall in the very early hours of a November Sunday morning isn’t for the faint-hearted (or anyone particularly fond of a lie-in!).

Creating something a little different from the usual photographs of the L2BVCR takes considerable effort, careful planning and a fair amount of off-camera flash. The aim is to produce distinctive, eye-catching images that capture these wonderful veteran cars in a way that stands out from the crowd.

For a £21 PayPal donation, you’ll receive a high-resolution, 16-bit digital image, suitable for printing at A3 or A4 size. The image is for personal use only. I will send a link to the email address linked to PayPal.

You can find a list of all the cars I photographed above, organised into the Red Route and Blue Route columns. Have a browse, find your reg plate or race number, and receive a little piece of this fantastic motoring event.

Prefer a print?

If you’d rather have something non digital and ready to hang on the wall, I can supply a stunning Guild Certified A3 mounted print with a backing board, printed on Ilford photographic paper, including Royal Mail First Class delivery within the UK, for £45. I also offer a money back gaurntee. If you are not satisfied with a print I providen return the print and i will provide a full refund.

International postage? No problem! Just drop me an email at fletcher@k2photographic.com for details in relation to postage costs.

After all, getting up at an unearthly hour to photograph these magnificent machines deserves to result in something more than cold fingers and soaked through to the skin when it rains.

Thank you for supporting indipendent photography.
